According to a press release from the Sedalia Police Department at 7:45 Monday morning officers of the Sedalia Police Department arrived on the scene at 411 East 3rd to execute a no-knock drug related search warrant. The police report states entry was forced to the residence, and once inside two-subjects were detained.  A subsequent search of the residence produced methamphetamine, marijuana drug packaging material and supplies, and drug paraphernalia. A further investigation revealed that one of the subjects identified as 27-year-old Christopher L. Lipper of Sedalia was a distributor of both methamphetamine and marijuana. Following the investigation Lipper was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail  for multiple drug related charges including Possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The press release state Lipper has been issued a $100,000 cash or surety bond on those charges. The press release further states that Lipper was wanted for questioning regarding a drug related search warrant at 1316 South Grand on April 23, 2015. During the investigation of that warrant the police developed probable cause to arrest Lipper for possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The press release states Lipper was not at home at the time of the execution of that warrant. An additional $5,000 bond was placed on Lipper for charges of possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia related to the earlier investigation.
