If you're looking for a fun outdoor activity this weekend, you might want to head to Lake of the Ozarks for Lake of the Ozarks Eagle Days, which is being held this Saturday, January 6, 2024.

According to the LOTO Eagle Days website, the event started in 1999 and attracted 651 people. These days, Eagle Days attracts between 1,500 and 2,000 people to the event.

Lake of the Ozarks Eagle Days events this year will be held at The Encore Lakeside Grill & Sky Bar and the Osage National Golf Resort.

Dickerson Park Zoo will be doing presentations on the Bald Eagle, and Owls of Missouri at the Encore Lakeside Grill & Sky Bary starting at 9:30 AM CST, with their last presentation occurring at 3:30 PM CST.

World Bird Sanctuary will be holding Live Eagle Presentations hourly between 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM CST at Osage National Golf Resort.

Additionally, members of the Missouri Master Naturalist - Lake of the Ozarks Chapter will be on hand with viewing scopes at both the Bagnell Dam Rivers Access below Bagnell Dam and Wilmore Lodge. Additionally, organizers of the event suggest you bring your binoculars if you have them.

Lake of the Ozarks Eagle Days is a collective partnership with the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, Lake of the Ozarks Convention and Visitor Bureau, Osage National Golf Resort, Kids Harbor, Back Stage Biz, The Encore Lakeside Grill & Sky Bar, Lodge of the Four Seasons, and Missouri Master Naturalist - Lake of the Ozarks chapter.
