Evelyn L. Hickman, 86

Evelyn L. Hickman, 86, of Sedalia, passed away Monday, May 27, 2013, at Bothwell Regional Health Center. She was born January 3, 1927, in Pettis County, daughter of Arthur and Martha Kunzler Keele.

Mrs. Hickman was a member of Parkway Freewill Baptist Church and played the organ at First Assembly of God Church for 25 years. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting, and loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are four children, Dan Hickman, of Sedalia, Sheree Adair (Gordon), of Florence, Shauna Hickman, of Donna, TX, and Shannyn Crawford (Mike), of Warsaw; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Shirley Cox; and a brother, Everett Keele. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dan Talbott officiating. Casket bearers will be Bob Cox, Brandon Crawford, Jesse Hickman, Justin Reith, Mike Crawford and Gordon Adair.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
