Boonslick Regional Library, 219 West 3rd, will have a teen author signing Saturday, Nov. 13 at 10 a.m.
Local author Angela Roquet provides a teen writing workshop each summer in conjunction with the library's Summer Reading Program.
The teens complete a short story, which are then published in a book and Boonslick hosts an author signing for people to purchase a copy of the book for $10 and get their book signed by the teens.
“It is a great way to foster the next generation of authors,” according to Catie McLaughlin, Boonslick's children and youth services.
