CASA 5K Poker Run April 2

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and CASA is calling the "Bluff" on Sexual Violence.

CASA's 5K Poker Fun Run, Presented by Nucor; Saturday, April 2, will take place in the Mathewson Exhibition Center parking lot.

This is a 5K run/walk combined with a five-card poker run with five stops along the run/walk route. Check-in from 8 to 8:45 a.m. The run/walk begins at 9 a.m.

Registration is $30. All registrations are due by March 18, and includes a T-shirt and a medal. All registrations include a poker score sheet for one poker hand. $5 for an extra poker hand. There will be cash prizes for best and worst hand, and the winners will be announced on stage at 11 a.m. at the Home & Garden Show at the Mathewson Building, followed by a mayoral proclamation for Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

You may view CASA's art exhibit along the mezzanine. The exhibit will feature area artwork depicting survivers of abuse and impacts of abuse. Vote on your favorite artwork for People's Choice at $1 per vote. Wear teal to support Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
