Dave Selvey Benefit Planned at MFA

MFA Agri Services, 2200 Clinton Road, Sedalia, will be holding a silent auction and benefit lunch for Dave Selvey on Sept. 8 from 11 a.m., to 3 p.m.

"Dave was diagnosed with brain cancer this spring and underwent surgery a few days later. He is currently in recovery but has a long way to go.

"Dave has driven a feed truck for Sedalia MFA for 47-plus years, and has always went the extra mile to make sure all the local animals never missed a meal. Dave is a devout Christian, father, grandfather, farmer, and always made every person who met him smile," according to the benefit organizers.

MFA is asking for donations of products/services for a silent auction, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to Dave and his family.
