Trinity Pyrmont Lutheran Church will host an ice cream social and silent auction on June 11, from 5-8 p.m.
The event is a free-will offering to benefit Show-Me Christian Youth Homes.
There will be sandwiches, hot dogs/chili, pie, cake, ice cream, and beverages.
There will also be a silent auction. Proceeds from the silent auction will go to the Stover and Cole Camp Food Pantries, Krystal's Dream, and ZZ Pendana Foundation.
A tool box (donated by Waterloo) and 8 various amounts of cash (ranging from $25 - $100) will be raffled. The raffle proceeds will be donated to ELCA World Hunger.
Local singers and musicians will perform, as well.
The event supported with a Thrivent Action Team.
