The 51st annual Loafers Convention is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 24 from 9 a.m., to 7 p.m., at the Green Ridge Community Building, 114 North Main.
A fried chicken dinner will be served from 11 a.m., to 2 p.m., and 4 to 7 p.m. for $13 each.
There will also be chili ($4), hot dogs ($4) and chili dogs ($5) available for purchase as well.
A silent auction will also take place throughout the day, ending at 6 p.m.
The event is sponsored by the Green Ridge Chamber of Commerce and the Green Ridge Community Center.
