The Sedalia West-Central chapter of the Missouri Archaeological Society will hold a Native American Artifact Show on Saturday, June 24 in Convention Hall at Liberty Park, in Sedalia. The show is free to the public and will take place from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.

There will be displays by area collectors of authentic Native American artifacts and early historical items. The public is invited to bring their personal artifacts for free identification as to type, age, culture, and usage. (No artifacts will be bought, sold, traded, or appraised). Flint knapping will be displayed and wooden display cases will be available for sale. In addition to the artifacts for view, $1 raffle tickets will be available for drawings at 11:00am and 2:00pm. You must be present to win.

The organization is an educational endeavor, and many people join with very limited, or no archaeological knowledge and/or experience. We welcome all who wish to join in our learning experiences!
