The children on Rob Parkhurst have established a memorial scholarship fund through the Sedalia #200 School District Foundation. In lieu of flowers for his memorial service, donations were accepted to establish this scholarship which will award a recipient in May of 2014. The family will be taking part in the Rob Parkhurst Memorial AUTUMN Street Poker Run presented by the Sedalia Motorcycle Association on Sunday, October 6th. They will have several commemorative items for sale, with proceeds going into the scholarship fund. The ride starts at Yeager's Cycle, sign in 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and will end at the Parkhurst Tiki House.
