SUMMARY:Fish With a Vet
DESCRIPTION:Mo Kids Outdoors and the American Legion Post 642 present Fishing with a Vet at Clover Dell Park for their Field Day.     Kids Field Day will be held at Clover Dell park on Saturday\, September 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Fishing poles will be supplied by the Conservation Department.  Prizes will be provided by The Whitetails Banquet fundraiser along with Sedalia DQ Grill and Chill and Eagle Claw Fishing Products.   There will be fishing with Al Cox from Eagle Claw\, Archery and tips from Pro Staff Shooters and lunch with the American Legion.  Catch some fish and meet some of the great people who protected this fine country of ours.   KIX 105 will be broadcasting live from the event.

SUMMARY:SFCC's Civic Club Night
DESCRIPTION:State Fair Community College invites members of area civic organizations to attend Civic Club Night Jan. 26 at the Roadrunner basketball games in the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on campus.    Civic club members may pick up free admission passes at their club meetings.  The SFCC Booster Club also will hold its annual chili and soup supper from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Jan. 26 at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on campus.  Meal tickets are $5 for adults and $3 or children 12 and younger and are available from Booster Club members or at the door. The price of the ticket includes soup or chili\, a drink and dessert\, but does not include admission to the game\, which is $5 per adult and $3 per student age 12 and above. Children under 12 and people over 60 are admitted free.  SFCC will host Mineral Area College. The Lady Roadrunners will play at 5:30 p.m. and the Roadrunners at 7:30 p.m.

SUMMARY:Dragfest for Kids
DESCRIPTION:The Midwest Dragfest for Kids will take place on June 1 and 2.   It'll be held on the Missouri State Fairgrounds and all the proceeds will go to the Children's Therapy Center and the Central Missouri Food Bank.  On Friday they begin at 5:00 p.m. with vendor setup and registration.  On Saturday at 8:00 a.m. the gates open and judging starts at 9:00 a.m.   The events start at 4:00 p.m.  On Sunday\, the judging starts at 9:00 a.m.  and at 10:00 a.m. the gates open to the public.   For information\, call Justin at 660-553-7272\, or email mwdfredsurrection@gmail.com .  You can also find them on Facebook.
