Sedalia Concert Band To Perform In July In Liberty Park

The Sedalia Community Concert Band will present their 123rd season in Liberty Park in July.

Concerts will be held outside at the bandstand or basketball courts, starting at 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays in July. One concert remains on July 23.

The concerts are free and open to the public. The band asks that everyone follow social distancing guidelines while enjoying the performances.

The concerts are sponsored by Sedalia Parks and Recreation.

The band also awards scholarships to those furthering their education at the end of their season on July 23. Support from sponsors aid with the continuation of the scholarship program, said Director Stephen Broadbent.
