SpoFest to Celebrate Fifth Anniversary

The SpoFest Fifth Anniversary event will be held from Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Montserrat Vineyards in Knob Noster.
There will be an afternoon of poetry and prose, line dancing, beer and wine tasting and trivia. There will also be an auction where people can bid on gift certificates from local area businesses and a very nice painting provided by area artist Ruth Dale.
Scheduled readers are Dave Wisker, Tony Shaffer and Scot Umphrey from Warrensburg; Melanie Dees Campbell from Marshall; Doug Kiburz from Sedalia and Steven Dotson from Columbia.
Warrensburg songwriter Linda Bales will provide music during the SpoFest event.
After the SpoFest event, there will be a mini concert featuring Travis DeMoss. Opening for Mr. DeMoss will be area musicians Tony Shaffer, Eugene "Mad Milo" Bozarth and James Bryant. Admission is free.
