The University of Central Missouri Gallery of Art and Design will host the annual Faculty Exhibition, which opens Oct. 4 and will be available through Nov. 2 in the Main and Outer galleries.
In the Main Gallery, the exhibition will feature the works of current and new faculty. New faculty who are exhibiting are Anthony Acock, who comes to UCM from Pratt Institute in New York; Mark Farris, who comes to UCM from the University of North Carolina; Justin Shaw, who comes to UCM from Nebraska Weslyan University; and Eric Stykel, who comes to UCM from the University
of Minnesota, Duluth.
Opening the same day in Outer Gallery is an exhibit of works by Richard Luehrman, professor emeritus and former chair of the Department of Art and Design. The exhibition of Luerhman's work is in honor of his service to UCM and the celebration of his 85th birthday.
An opening reception is planned for 4-6 p.m. Oct. 4. The public is invited to attend, meet the artists and discuss their work. The exhibition is sponsored by Murdock Banner Financial Services,
Warrensburg.

The UCM Gallery of Art and Design, located at 217 E. Clark St., is open to the public, free of charge, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday when school is in session. For information about upcoming exhibitions, visit www.ucmo.edu/gallery, or contact the
