Four people received minor injuries in a three-vehicle accident that occurred early Monday morning in Pettis County.

The accident happened at 6:36 a.m. On Route 50, one-third of a mile west of Route TT, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

An eastbound 2002 Honda Accord, driven by 36-year-old Susan M. Priesmeyer of Versailles, was stopped to make a left turn when it was struck from the rear by an eastbound 2009 Ford Focus driven by 35-year-old Nicholas Staus of Sedalia. The rear of the Accord then slid across the center line and was struck by a westbound 2012 Buick Lacrosse driven by 45-year-old Denise L. Woody of California.

Injured in the Accord were Priesemeyer and her passenger, 14-year-old Matthew D. Potter, both of Versailles. They were both transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by PCAD.

Injured in the Lacrosse were Woody and her passenger, 11-year-old Kaley-Lynn Daroch, both of California. They sought their own treatment.

All four suffered minor injuries, and all four were wearing a safety device, according to the report. Staus was apparently not injured.

The Focus had extensive damage, while the Accord and Lacrosse had moderate damage.

Pettis County deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
