Four Sedalians Injured in Rollover on Oak Grove Lane
A 20-year-old woman and three young children suffered minor injuries in a one-car rollover accident that occurred in Pettis County Sunday afternoon.
According to the Missouri State highway Patrol, Sydney S. Long, 20, Sedalia, was the driver of a southbound 2005 Buick Terraza (minivan) on Oak Grove Lane , 1/2 mile north of Highway 50 at 2:43 p.m. June 25 when the vehicle failed to slow down for a railroad crossing, struck a dip in the roadway, ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned.
Injured were Long and her passengers, two-year-old Ayden J. Baker, one-year-old Eli A. Baker and Averi A. Baker, 0. All were transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by private vehicle, according to the report. Long was not wearing a safety device, while her passengers were, the report said.
The Buick had extensive damage and was towed from the scene. Pettis County deputies assisted the three patrolmen at the scene.
