Funeral Announcements for February 16, 2024

A memorial service for Daniel W. Smith, 80, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17 at Heckart Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Joyce Ladine Leonard, 75, of Knob Noster, will be held at Heckart Funeral Home Saturday, Feb. 17 at 10:30, with family welcoming guests at 9:30.

A memorial service for Brady Michael McClintock, 19, will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17 at Carterville Christian Church, Carterville, Mo. Following the service, there will be a visitation with the family. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A Celebration of Life for Betty Mae Borchardt, 92, of Sedalia, will be held in California at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

The family of John McFail, Jr., 84, of Houstonia, will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18 at Heckart Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 19 at Heckart Funeral Home. Burial will be in Houstonia Cemetery.

Memorial service for David Oconel "Rerun" Waters, Sr. 73, of Sedalia, formerly of Kansas City, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2810 E. Broadway, in Sedalia.  Inurnment will be in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville.  Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
