Funeral Announcements for July 24, 2023

A celebration of life for Charles David Hopkins, 71, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel.

A celebration of life for Garland Wray Jobe, 78, of Cole Camp, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 24, at Bethlehem Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 23, at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Burial will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, with full military honors conducted by the United States Navy and Sedalia VFW Post #2591. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

The family of Dorothy Mae Franklin, 100, of Sedalia, will receive friends from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday, July 27, at Heckart Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. A Christian burial will follow at Highland Sacred Gardens.

Funeral service for Ruth Ann Parkhurst-Darby, 93, Warrensburg, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 29 at Heckart Funeral Home. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m., until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be 2 p.m., at Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton.
