Funeral Announcements for July 28, 2023

Funeral service for Ruth Ann Parkhurst-Darby, 93, Warrensburg, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 29 at Heckart Funeral Home. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m., until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be 2 p.m., at Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton.

Memorial mass for Alan Charles Esser, 40 of Sedalia, will be 11 a.m., Friday, July 28, at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will be in the columbarium niche at Crown Hill Cemetery.

There are no public services planned for Duane L. Newkirk, 91, of Marshall. The family will gather for a private memorial service at a later date. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for Vicki Lynn Wilson, 66, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, at Emmet Avenue Baptist Church. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for Mary Beth Kamphefner, 63, of Sedalia, will be held on Monday, Aug. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rea Funeral Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Visitation for Robert Allen “Hippie Bob” Brown, 69, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 31 until service time at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, at the funeral home with military honors provided by the United States Army and VFW Post 2591.

There will be no formal memorial services planned for Leonard Wilfred Weedman, 80, of Sedalia. Body donation arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial for Ruth A. Mather, 67, of Sedalia, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2 at the Sacred Heart Chapel of St. Vincent de Paul. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Aug. 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. with a recitation of the Rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Rea Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.
