Funeral Announcements for June 16, 2023

Visitation for Erma Lee Booth, 85, of Lincoln, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 16, at Mt. Pleasant Church near Lincoln with memorial services to be held at 11 a.m.  Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Lincoln. Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.

Visitation for Pauline R. Grant, 78, of Sedalia, will be 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, June 16 at Heckart Funeral Home.

A celebration of life for Shirley Diann Rollings, 63, of Sedalia, will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, June 19, at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

A celebration of life for Linda Sue Saylor, 79, of Sedalia, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 16, at Rea Funeral Chapel.

Inurnment graveside service for Ralph Lee Shanahan, 96, of Sedalia, will be at 12 p.m. Wednesday, June 21 at La Monte Cemetery. Arrangements are by McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.

Graveside service for Melvin Dale Poundstone, 91, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 19, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sedalia with military honors.  Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.

A celebration of life for Martha Sue Dhority-Petree, 82, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 16, at Rea Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel.

A funeral service for Susan "Suzie" Diane Young, 57, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 19, at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel. Burial will be at La Monte Cemetery.

Visitation f or Dayann Elaine Brown, 53, of Cole Camp, will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, at Fox Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.  Burial will be in Cole Camp Cemetery.

Memorial service for Cecil Warren Bohon, Jr., 90, of Sedalia will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, at Calvary Episcopal Church. A luncheon will be served following the memorial service. Inurnment will be in the church columbarium. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Funeral service for George Thomas Crafton, 84, of Sedalia will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery following the service.

A Celebration of Life for Raymond Keneth “Pops” Duren, 84, of Sedalia, will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, June 19, at Centennial Park. Military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Navy, VFW Post 2591, and the Patriot Guard. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Funeral service for Patricia S. Albers, 81, of Sedalia, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 20 at Heckart Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10 a.m., until service time. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors.
