Funeral Announcements for June 21, 2023

Inurnment graveside service for Ralph Lee Shanahan, 96, of Sedalia, will be at 12 p.m. Wednesday, June 21 at La Monte Cemetery. Arrangements are by McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for Arthur Harold Hagen, 89, of Cole Camp, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 24 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church near Cole Camp. Burial will be in Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Post No. 305. Arrangements are in care of the Fox Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Robert Paul “Bob” Edgar, 88, of Sedalia, will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, June 22, at Heckart Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fort Scott National Cemetery, Fort Scott, Kan., at 12:30 p.m. Friday, June 23.

A celebration of life for Christie Lynn Nixon will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 24 at First Baptist Church in Cole Camp, followed by a potluck fellowship meal, please bring a dish.  Arrangements are under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.

Visitation for Virginia Martin, 90, of Sedalia, will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June, 26 at St. Vincent de Paul St. Patrick Chapel in Sedalia.  Mass of Christian burial will immediately follow at 11 a.m. at the church.  Burial will be held at Highland Sacred Gardens.  Arrangements are in care of Heckart Funeral Home.
