Funeral Announcements for March 19, 2024

Memorial service for Christopher Scott Denker, 42, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 23 at Grace Fellowship Church in Cole Camp. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.

Memorial service for David William Schlomer, 73, of Houstonia, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 23 at Calvary Episcopal Church. Interment will be at Longwood Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

A celebration of life for Lynn D. Middleton, 70, of Sedalia, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 19 at Rea Funeral Chapel. An additional visitation will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 21 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wall Lake, Iowa. A vigil service will be held at 6:30 p.m.

The family of Don Leo Engelbrecht, 83, of Tipton,  will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, March 23 at First Baptist Church of Tipton, where a celebration of life service will be held at 12.  Family burial will be held at California City Cemetery, with military honors by the U.S. Army and Edgar Cole American Legion Post 304. Arrangements are in care of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Robert "Bob" Bevin Campbell, 66, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 18 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Memorial service for Rev. Colin Trevor Ward, 76, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 20 at Christ and Trinity Lutheran Church. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Graveside service for Kenneth Clayton Holman, 102, of Warrensburg, formerly of Sedalia will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 18 at Crown Hill Cemetery. Full military honors will be given by the United States Navy and the VFW Post #2591 of Sedalia. Friends may call Monday morning prior to the service at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for Gloria “Marie” Perriguey, 95, of Sedalia, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 19 at the LaMonte Christian Church. Burial will be in the La Monte Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.

Funeral service for  Ruby G. Ellis, 95, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 25 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.
