Funeral Announcements for March 25, 2024

Funeral service for  Ruby G. Ellis, 95, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 25 at Rea Funeral Chapel.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home for Carl Clopton, 85, of Sedalia.

A Celebration of Life for Mike Finley, 64, will be held Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m., at Sweeny-Phillips/Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg.

Private services will be held at a later date for Danny Mayfield, Jr., 61, of Sedalia, Arrangements are under the direction of Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Stover.

Prayers of the Holy Rosary for Darrell James Knedgen, age 92, of Pilot Grove, will begin at 9:45 a.m. Monday, March 25 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Pilot Grove followed by visitation until Mass time at 11 a.m. Burial will be held at a later date at St. John Catholic Cemetery, Clear Creek. Arrangements are under the direction of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home, Pilot Grove.

The family of Mark Joseph Lawler, 65, of La Monte, is planning a celebration of life gathering with family and friends for a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for James "Jimmy" Richard Larkey, 47, of Sedalia, will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, April 1 at Liberty Life Center. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Church. Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Cremation arrangements for Warren H. Macurdy, 74, of Sedalia, are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Graveside service for Dean Charles Vannoy, 77, of Hughesville, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, at Green Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 pm Monday, April 8 at Heckart Funeral Home.

Arrangements are pending at Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Services for Richard A. "Rick" Carver, 61, of Sedalia.

A celebration of life for Rodney Russell Sweeney, 80, Pilot Grove, will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home, Pilot Grove.

Visitation for Jacob Ross Mothersbaugh, 25, of Sedalia, will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 30 at Heckart Funeral Home.  A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Highland Sacred Gardens.
