Funeral Announcements for March 29, 2024

Memorial service for Elizabeth Jean Phillips, 86, of Sedalia will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20 at Heckart Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1 p.m., until service time.

The family of Mark Joseph Lawler, 65, of La Monte, is planning a celebration of life gathering with family and friends for a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for James "Jimmy" Richard Larkey, 47, of Sedalia, will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, April 1 at Liberty Life Center. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Church. Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Cremation arrangements for Warren H. Macurdy, 74, of Sedalia, are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Private services will be held at a later date for Danny Mayfield, Jr., 61, of Sedalia, Arrangements are under the direction of Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Stover.

Graveside service for Dean Charles Vannoy, 77, of Hughesville, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, at Green Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 pm Monday, April 8 at Heckart Funeral Home.

A celebration of life for Rodney Russell Sweeney, 80, Pilot Grove, will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home, Pilot Grove.

Visitation for Jacob Ross Mothersbaugh, 25, of Sedalia, will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 30 at Heckart Funeral Home.  A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Highland Sacred Gardens.

A private celebration of life for Michael Gene Thoennes, 67, of Cole Camp, will be announced by the family at a later date. Cremation arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for Mary Frances Mullins, 80, of Sedalia, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 1 at Rea Funeral Chapel.

Memorial service for Richard Alvin “Rick” Carver, 61, of Sedalia, will be at 6 p.m. Friday, April 12 at Heckart Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 5 p.m.

A celebration of life for Isaiah Jordan Otten, 31, of Sedalia, will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 3 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until service time at the chapel. A private burial by the family will be held at a later date in Providence Cemetery, Smithton.

Memorial service for Susan Mitchell Callis, 89, of Sedalia, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13 at Calvary Episcopal Church. Inurnment will follow in the Calvary Episcopal Church Columbarium. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m., until service time at the church. Arrangements are in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for Dave Alan Smith "Smitty", 64, of Sedalia, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 5 at Rea Funeral Chapel.
