Funeral Announcements for March 8, 2024

Funeral service for Ruth Ann Hall, 96, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 11 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be at Payne Cemetery, Dunksburg.

A memorial service for Charles Edward Bell, 99, of Sedalia, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 8 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Full Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Army, VFW Post #2591, and the Patriot Guard Riders. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, at the funeral chapel, with a Masonic service being conducted by Sedalia Masonic Lodge #272 AF&AM.

A graveside service for Alberta Lucille Tucker, age 93, of Madison, Mississippi, formerly of Cole Camp, will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 10 at Cole Camp Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Fox Funeral Home in Cole Camp.

Memorial service for Russell Aaron Vinson, 87, of Sedalia, will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, March 8, at Bethany Baptist Church, 500 North Park, Sedalia. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at the church.

A celebration of life for Caleb Ryan Sell, 34, of Sedalia, will be held from 10 a.m., to 12 p.m., March 16 at Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for Evelyn June Wurl, 92, of Sedalia will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 8 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be at Highland Sacred Gardens. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Memorial service for Richard Parkhurst, 84, of Sedalia, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 9 at First Christian Church. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m., until service time at the church. Inurnment will take place in Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Memorial service for Christopher Scott Denker, 42, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 23 at Grace Fellowship Church in Cole Camp. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.

Graveside service for Florence “Joanne” McFail, 70, of Sedalia, will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 15 at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Memorial service for Barbara Jo Hayden, 83, of Sedalia, will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, March 16 at Broadway Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends following the service until 2:30 in the church fellowship hall. A private burial will be held. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
