Funeral Announcements for May 2, 2023

A celebration of life for Margaret K. "Kathie" Mullins, 65, of La Monte, formerly of Marshall, will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 25, at LifePointe Church. Burial will be held at a later date in Barea Cemetery, Cooper County. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A Rosary for James Timothy Buckley, 84, Sedalia, will be said at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Sacred Heart Chapel in Sedalia on Tuesday, May 2 at 5:30 p.m.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the church on Wednesday, May 3 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Funeral service for Barbara Jean “Bobbi” Smith, 77, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 8, at East Sedalia Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Private family burial will be held at a later date in the Edmonson Baptist Church Cemetery near Lincoln. Arrangements in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

The family of Margaret Ann Jones, 64, of Sedalia, will hold a private celebration of life at a future date. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for Clarence Marion Newton, 91, of Sedalia, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 3 at Heckart Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time. Burial with military honors will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Funeral service for Bobby Gene Wells, 91, of Sedalia, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 6, at Heckart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens.
