Funeral Anouncements for November 30, 2023

A memorial service for Pearly John Jett, 88, Lake of the Ozarks, will be held Dec. 8 at 10 a.m., at Rea Funeral Chapel. There will be a private burial at a later date.

A celebration of life for Wayne Leroy Kitchen, 75, formerly of Sedalia, will be on Friday, Dec. 1, in Oakland, California.

Funeral service for Gayle Jarrett, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be at La Monte Cemetery.

A celebration of life for Edward Galen Browning, 55, of Augusta, Kan., will be held by the family during the spring of 2024 in Augusta. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

The family of Cary B. Shaw, 93, will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. at Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Stover. Military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Air Force and Stover American Legion.
Graveside service for Bernadette Maria McMillen, 61, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery mausoleum chapel in Kansas City. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Funeral service for Donald Glen Morton, 89, of Raymore, formerly of Sedalia, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1 at Heckart Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30 at the funeral home.

A celebration of life for Arlane "Lane" M. Yeager, 80, of Sedalia, will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at a later date at Highland Sacred Gardens.

Funeral service for Melbern Lynn Apsher, 82, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Entombment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

A celebration of life for William Carlyle "Bill" Dotson, 76, will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7 at Rea Funeral Chapel.

Memorial service for Jimmy Opfer, 51, of La Monte, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4 at La Monte Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
