Wednesday, March 06, 2013 2:16 PM Glenn Beck, 75, Sedalia, passed away, Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Bothwell Regional Health Center. He was born November 15, 1937, in Montezuma, IA, a son of Frank and Delphia (Byers) Beck.   February 28, 1959 in Sedalia, he was united in marriage to Sandra Jett, who survives of the home.

He was a graduate of Vandalia /Butler High School, OH.  He served as a veterinary assistant for Sedalia Vet. Center, retiring in 1999, then worked at Break Time for 11 years. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, The American Legion #642, Moose Lodge #1494 and former member of The Elks Lodge # 125.  Glenn earned the 4th degree Pilgrim Award, the highest award in the Moose fraternity.  He served his country honorably in the US Air Force. Glenn loved to go camping and fishing with his wife, and was proud of his kids and grandkids.

Besides his wife, he is survived by four children, Katherine (Greg) Riekhof of Jonesboro, AR, Kenneth (Susan) Beck of Butte, MT, Thomas Beck of Sedalia and Cameron (Sherrie) Beck of Warrensburg; nine grandchildren; five step grandchildren and two great grandsons.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Beck at infancy and a brother, Max Beck.    The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm, Friday, March 8, 2013 at New Hope Baptist Church, Sedalia with a Moose Lodge Pilgrim Memorial to be conducted at 6:00 pm.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with Rev. Corbet Martin officiating.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Kindle, Jason Kindle, Travis Jobe, Brad Kindle, Dale Keefe, Tom Pabst and James Phillips.

Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery.   Memorial contributions are suggested to The American Cancer Society or Bethlehem Baptist Church in care of the funeral chapel.
