Governor Nixon Asked About Clemency For Jeff Mizanskey By KSIS

Governor Jay Nixon visited Maxion Wheels this (Wednesday) afternoon to recognize Pettis County as one of only 12-counties in Missouri to earn a “Certified Work Ready Community” (CWRC) Designation Nixon pointed out that Maxion Wheels Long time presence in Sedalia is a perfect example of why a highly trained workforce is key to competing in today’s global market. Nixon also cited the continued growth of vehicle manufacturers and suppliers in the state of Missouri. Following the governor’s remarks KSIS had the opportunity to talk to him about the request for clemency for Jeff Mizanskey, a local citizen who has spent decades in prison for possession of marijuana.
