Green Ridge Man Flown to Hospital Following Vehicle Accident

A 20-year old Green Ridge man was flown to a Columbia hospital after suffering injuries in a Friday night vehicle accident in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident around 10:00, on Cottage School Road at White Road.

According to the online crash report, the driver of a 2008 Suzuki failed to negotiate a curve and struck a concrete culvert. The driver, Weston L. Cannon, of Green Ridge, was then ejected from the Suzuki.

Cannon suffered moderate injuries in the accident. He was taken to University Hospital, by Life Flight, for treatment.

The Pettis County Sheriff's department assisted the highway patrol at the scene.
