Hattie Oleda Holder, 97, of Cole Camp, died Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at Rolla Health and Rehab, Rolla.  She was born on August 25, 1917, at Pleasant Hill, Missouri, a daughter of William Hobart and Florence Marie (Czeschin) Alexander.

She was baptized as a teenager at the Methodist Church and graduated from Pleasant Hill High School.  On October 8, 1938, at Arrow Rock, she was united in marriage to Harold Louis Topel, who preceded her in death on December 5, 1960. After their marriage, they lived on the Topel family farm near Blackwater.  This union was blessed with three children, Harold Jr., Clyde, and Marie.  While living in Blackwater, she was a bookkeeper for the MFA for eight years.

On October 12, 1965, she was married to Raymond Y. Holder.  After their marriage, the couple moved to Cole Camp and lived on a farm two miles northeast of town.  She transferred her membership to First United Methodist Church in Cole Camp.  After her husband's death on October 17, 1989, she moved into Cole Camp.  She was a bookkeeper for Borchers and Heimsoth in Cole Camp for twelve years.

She is survived by:
one daughter, Marie Morris of Irving, Texas,
one step-daughter, Jill McCracken of Bolivar,
one sister, Verda Mueller of Raytown,
one brother, Ed Alexander of Pleasant Hill,
nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, two nieces, two nephews, and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Florence Alexander, her first husband Harold Topel, her second husband Raymond Holder, two sons, Clyde Richard Topel and Harold Louis Topel, Jr., and one brother, Clyde Alexander.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Cole Camp Cemetery, rural Cole Camp, with  Pastor Michael Cassidy officiating.

The family suggests memorial contributions be given to American Diabetes Association or First United Methodist Church in care of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.
