Hazel Loreda Russell, 74, of Sedalia, died Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel in Sedalia, with Rev. Robert Sisney officiating.  Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jaime Robinson, Bruce Pauley, Cord Pauley, Chris Burns, Jordan Robinson and Matthew Burns. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 am Wednesday at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Born January 25, 1940 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Odis H. and Jane Casey Hulsey. In February, 1958, she married Billy Eugene Robinson, and he survives of Cole Camp. On August 28, 1995, in Las Vegas, she married Frank M. Russell, and he preceded her in death on February 14, 2000.

She is survived by a son, Jerry Dean Robinson of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Anna Jane Burns of Sedalia, and Lynda Pauley of Ashland; six grandchildren, Chris Burns, Matthew Burns, Jordan Robinson, Jaime Robinson, Cord Pauley and Kara Pauley; four great-grandchildren, Emma Burns, Lily Burns, Jade Burns and Sterling Burns; and three brothers, Vernon Hulsey of Ft. Worth, Texas, Argis Hulsey of Laguna Hills, California, and Gary Hulsey of Sparks, Nevada.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Hulsey.

Mrs. Russell had worked as a nurse’s aide at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Cole Camp, and Lincoln Community Nursing Home in Lincoln. She was a Baptist. She dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had lived south of Cole Camp for many years before moving to Sedalia in 1989.
