Irma Louise Gerrish, 93, of Sedalia, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center.

She was born September 16, 1919, a daughter of the late Charles and Louise (Krause) Ziegelbein. On September 22, 1946, she married Eugene Gale Gerrish, who preceded her in death on February 6, 2009.

Irma was a faithful member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by a son, Randy Gerrish, of Sedalia; three grandsons, Sean Geer, of Kansas City, Ryan Gerrish and Joshua Gerrish, both of Sedalia; and a great-grandson, Brody Geer.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Pam Geer, one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be 11:30 am, Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jeremy Freeman officiating. Pallbearers will be Chuck Ziegelbein, Rick Ziegelbein, Pat Ziegelbein, Bob Wheeler, Steve Wheeler and John Wolfe. Burial will follow in Highland Sacred Gardens.

Visitation will be 11 am until service time.
