James Michael Boston, 33, of Versailles, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at his home. He was born on October 23, 1981, the son of Mike and Jean (Pesch) Boston, who survive of Sedalia.

On June 14, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada, he was united in marriage to Kimberly Roth, who survives of the home.

James was a 2000 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School, Sedalia. He loved his family and enjoyed his time with them. He also enjoyed working at Sedalia Steel and spending time with his fellow coworkers.

Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by a daughter, Emili Marie Boston and her mother, Amanda (Hoehns) Pounds of Sedalia; a stepson, Mico Roth of the home; his maternal grandfather, James Pesch of Sedalia; two sisters, Melissa Boston of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Stephanie Gleason (Roman) and her husband, Tommy Gleason of Sedalia.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Vivian Pesch, and his paternal grandmother, Mary Lou Boston.

A Liturgy Reading of the Word will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia, with Father Mark Miller officiating.

The family will receive friends at the chapel for a visitation one hour prior to service.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Messick, Chase Elkins, Rodney Adams, and Ralph Eye.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of the donor’s choice.
