Janet F. Holman, 66

Janet F. Holman, 66, of Sedalia died Sunday, July 29, 2012. She was born January 23, 1946, the daughter of Herman and Clara (Simon) Young.

After high school Janet attended beautician school. Later, after caring for her father, she continued her education and worked in healthcare for the remainder of her career. Janet retired and began playing games online. She added many new friends throughout the world through Pogo.com. Her retirement also provided opportunities for her to travel with her partner, Jim Pack.

Janet is survived by her children, Lori Holman and her partner, Randall Knight of Marion, Iowa and Bill Holman and his wife, Elizabeth of Cole Camp; 5 grandchildren, Calen Holman and Sarah Neudorff, and Brooke, Tommy and Kimberlyn Holman; 2 great grandchildren, Kaiser and Kingston and one on the way; her partner Jim Pack and numerous nieces and nephews.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, Ann Ameye and 3 brothers, Reno, Herb and Harding Young. Funeral services will be at 10:00AM, Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home, with Pastor Jason McCray officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Janet's family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00PM at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 31, 2012.
