Jared Alan Gardner, 20, of rural Lincoln, died Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at University of Missouri Hospital, Columbia, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  He was born on July 28, 1994, at Sedalia, Missouri, a son of Earl and Becky (Stephens) Gardner.

He grew up south of Cole Camp on the Gardner ground, where he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his cousins and friends.  In 2012, he graduated from Cole Camp High School.  He was a member of the trap and archery teams, played soccer and loved to play baseball, held various offices in FFA, and attended vo-tech building trade classes at SFCC in Sedalia.  His prized possession was his orange Ford power stroke.

He attended Ozark Tabernacle Church, rural Lincoln, and Abundant Life Church, rural Cole Camp, where he was baptized on September 2, 2001, by Rev. Herbert Robertson.  He was a bullet press operator for Sierra Bullets in Sedalia.

He is survived by:
his parents, Earl and Becky Gardner of the home;
his sister, Heather Eufinger and her husband Jacob of Lincoln;
his brother, Jacob Gardner of Cole Camp; and
his grandparents, Roy and Hazel Gardner of Lincoln and Lora Cooper of Lowry City.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Cooper.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 9, 2014, at the Lutheran School Auditorium in Cole Camp with Rev. Johnny Medlock officiating.  Burial will be in Union-Williams Cemetery, rural Cole Camp.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Sunday.

The family suggests memorial contributions be given to the family in care of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Gardner, Heather Eufinger, Jacob Eufinger, Junior Stephens, Zach Riley, Mark Lancaster, Brian Burnett, Ben Burnett, Steven Renfro, and Dustin Renfro.
