JoAnne Mucke, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013, in Lee’s Summit.

She was born in Cleveland, MO, the daughter of the late Archie Wilson and Marjorie (Hopkins) Job. On June 18, 1955, in Belton, she married D. Wayne Mucke, who preceded her in death.

She leaves three daughters, Krista R. Kempton, and her husband, Mark, Kelly L. Burkholder, and her husband, Kent, all of Sedalia, and Karla J. Hall, and her husband, Steve, of Parkville; two brothers, James T. Job, of Raymore, and Jerald W. Job, of Leawood, KS; eight grandchildren, Jason B. Kempton, T. Brody Kempton, Samuel R. Kempton, Benjamin T. Kempton, Jacob A. Burkholder, Allison P. Burkholder, Jodi L. Hall and Turner S. Hall

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Kevin Wayne Mucke.

Funeral Mass will be 11 am, Saturday, January 26, 2013, at Sacred Heart Church with Father James Betzen officiating. Visitation will be 10 am until service time at the church. The body will be cremated and interred beside her husband and son in Glenwild Cemetery, Cleveland, at a later date.

Her family thanks those people who devote their lives to caring for people in memory care units and long-term care facilities.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial to the Alzheimer’s Association in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel. Condolences may be offered online
