June I. Jonson-Clark, 85, of Sedalia, passed away November 20, 2013, at Four Seasons Living Center.

She was born April 25, 1928, on a farm near Hughesville to Rose Irene (Stephenson) Furnell and Hubbard Leroy "Roy" Furnell. June spent the major portion of life in the Sedalia area, graduating from Smith-Cotton High School in 1946. She was a longterm employee at J.C. Penney, both downtown and at the Thompson Hills store.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Joy; a granddaughter, Kristen; and husbands, Harry Jonson and E. Jack Crawford.
She has two daughters, Shannon R. Kohrs and Erin J. Moore, of Sedalia; husband, Warren S. Clark; a stepson, James Jonson; her grandchildren, Lauren, of Chillicothe, and Brendan Van Winkle, of Sedalia; ten great-granddaughters; two great-grandsons; and two great-great-grandsons.
June had been a member of First Baptist Church of Sedalia for more than 70 years. She was fully committed to the principles set forth by the Christian doctrine.

Her greatest joys and memories of childhood and as a young adult were the Furnell reunions at Liberty Park. Her middle years were committed to her family and the time at the lake cabin with her husband, Harry, and the many lake friends. Her senior years were all about their Organ Club and dancing with the senior friends.

She married her friend of some 80 years, Warren S. Clark, on January 29, 2011.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jason McClain officiating.
Casket bearers will be Richard Beard, Russell Bohem, Zeb Frazier, Dave Furnell, James Jonson and Brendan Van Winkle.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time Friday at Heckart Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Sedalia Animal Shelter.
