Karen Sue Lamb, 38, of Sedalia was greeted by her Lord and Savior, Monday, January 5, 2015.  She passed peacefully surrounded by her family at her home, after her battle with cancer. She was born on March 19, 1976 in Anderson, IN, the daughter of Ronald and Judith (Coen) Anstine, who survive of Smithton, MO.

On October 29, 1994 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Sedalia, she was united in marriage to Steven Christian Lamb, who survives of the home.

Karen was active in her children’s events, serving as concessions director for boy’s soccer, Den Mother to Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, and member of the Sedalia PTA. She loved going to her kids sporting events and enjoyed reading. Karen was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Sedalia and attended First Baptist Church, Sedalia.

Karen is also survived by her three children, Steven Jacob Lamb, Madison Sue Lamb and Erika Noelle Lamb, all of the home; five brothers, Keith Anstine of Omaha, NE, Kevin (Cory) Anstine of Sedalia, Karl Anstine of Columbia, Kristopher Anstine of Columbia and Kirk (Stacy) Anstine of Eldon; and her grandmother, June Parks of Sedalia.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Bradley Anstine.

Celebration of Karen’s Life will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 9, 2015 at First United Methodist Church, Celebration Center. Rev. Jim Downing and her brother, Rev. Kevin Anstine will officiate service.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, January 8, 2015, also at The Celebration Center.

Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Sedalia.

Pallbearers will be her five brothers and brother-in-law, Timothy Lamb.

Honorary bearers will be nephews, Bostin Boles, Joel and Philip Anstine, Dillon and Dakota Anstine, Robbie Anstine and her niece, Shannon Hall.

Memorial contributions are suggested to The Lamb Children Trust Fund, in care of Rea Funeral Chapel or Third National Bank, Sedalia.
