Knob Noster Man Injured in Johnson County Crash

A Knob Noster man was injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred this morning just before 10:30 in Johnson County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 22-year-old Reyna J. Smith, of Odessa, was the driver of an eastbound 2003 Chevrolet on Highway 50 at NE 175 Road, when she overtook and struck an eastbound 2007 Ford driven by 83-year-old Billy R. Maham of Knob Noster. The Smith vehicle then traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a highway post. Maham was transported to Western Missouri Hospital by private vehicle for minor injuries.

The Chevy had minor injuries and was driven from the scene. The Ford had extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
