Liberty Center Association for the Arts to Open New Patio at Country Club with Midsummer Night’s Soiree
The Liberty Center Association For the Arts will debut the new patio at the Country Club with a Midsummer Night’s Soiree this Saturday night (June 22) at 7 p.m. This event will not only be a fundraiser, but will also will mark the announcement of the STAR (Sedalia’s Top Arts Recipient) Award.
The 2013-14 Season will be announced during the course of the evening. The evening’s master of ceremonies will be Ron Wineinger. In addition to Cocktails and Hors d’oeuvres, there will also be a paper moon photo booth and an auction including pieces by local artists in the culinary arts, aswell as gift bags. Cocktail hour entertainment will be a quintet from the Sedalia Symphony along with a Midsummer Night poem by Faith Bemiss.
“While this event is a fundraiser for the Liberty Center, attendees will also experience the arts,” said Terri Ballard, Liberty Center Executive Director. “We promise great food, good company, and a wonderful art experience.”
