C&B Gutter Solutions and Vinyl Siding made a gift of a "CPR in Schools" kit to Sacred Heart School. The "CPR in Schools" kit includes educational tools to teach students how to save lives with CPR and First Aid.

Gary Cornine and Michelle Blankenship, co-owners of C&B Gutter Solutions and Vinyl Siding, presented the gift to the Sacred Heart School student body during an all-school pep rally on November 3.

The CPR kit donation follows on the heels of a bill recently signed by Governor Jay Nixon that will require Missouri high school students to take 30 minutes of CPR instruction prior to graduation. This new law will go into effect for the 2017-2018 school year.

"Receiving the CPR kit came as a complete surprise to all of us," said Holly Wilson, SHS administrator, during the all school assembly. "CPR training might help our students save a life one day. We are extremely grateful to C&B Gutter Solutions and Vinyl Siding for helping to make CPR training possible at SHS."
