Lula Anna Margaret Case, of Cole Camp, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Good Samaritan Care Center, Cole Camp.  She had reached the age of 99 years, 8 months, and 19 days.  She was born on August 8, 1913, on the family farm near Haw Creek, a daughter of George F. and Freida (Schnakenberg) Bockelman.   Growing up, she helped on the farm.  She was baptized on August 31, 1913, and confirmed on April 10, 1927, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church near Cole Camp.  She graduated 8th grade from Holy Cross Lutheran Church School.  For a short time, she was an assistant cook at the Benton County R-1 School in Cole Camp.   On June 16, 1934, in Olathe, Kansas, she was united in marriage to Harold Davis Case, who preceded her in death on March 27, 2005.  This union was blessed with two sons, Vern Dean and Jesse Davis.   She lived in Kansas City for 12 years. In 1946, they moved near Cole Camp, where she was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.  In 1971, the couple moved to town.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and canning.  She loved quilting and piecing quilts.  She is survived by: two sons, Vern Dean Case and his wife Emma Lou and Jesse Davis Case and his wife Myra, all of Cole Camp; eleven grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren.  Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, George F. and Freida Bockelman, one brother, Harry Bockelman, two grandchildren, Russell Case and Cathy Case Wilson, and a daughter-in-law, Patricia Ann Richter Case.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Cole Camp, with Pastor Todd Kollbaum officiating.  Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, rural Cole Camp.   The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time on Thursday at the church.  The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Trinity Lutheran Church in care of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.  Pallbearers will be her grandsons:  David Case, Robert Case, Patrick Case, Timothy Case, Michael Case, Steven Case, and Brian Case.  Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters: Pamela Breckenridge, Rebecca Alport, Nicole Mackey, and Kimberly Kenney.
