Mary Ruth Polk, 55, of Sedalia, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.   She was born September 14, 1957, in Hannibal, MO, daughter of Albert Leo and Frances L. Williams Allen. She was a 1974 graduate of Hannibal High School.   On August 2, 1980, in Hannibal, she married Dennis Wayne Polk, who survives of the home.   Mrs. Polk was the office manager at Ideal Tool in Sedalia. She was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church, where she taught Sunday School, was involved in the Women's News Group and enjoyed singing in the choir. She was active in the Pettis County Relay for Life. Her family was her greatest love.   In addition to her husband of 32 years, survivors include two children, Jessie Edwards, and her husband, Sean, of Kansas City, MO, and Jordan Polk, and his wife, Nicole, of Sedalia; two grandchildren, Ashlyn Koeltz and Jaxsen Hundley; six siblings, Cheryl Faulkner, Albert Allen, Darrell Allen, Cecil Allen, Mark Allen and Jimmy Allen; and many nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by her parents; and three siblings, Steve Allen, John Allen and Cathy Allen.   Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 22, at Calvary Episcopal Church, with Fr. Albert Allen and the Rev. David Cox officiating.   The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Heckart Funeral Home.   Graveside services and burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal, MO.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.   Condolences may be offered at heckartfuneralhome.com.
