Merle Repper age 93 of Smithton died on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at her home.

She was born on February 26, 1921 in Pilot Grove, Missouri daughter of Ida Belle (Helms) and Franklin Eichelberger.

On June 8, 1946 in Boonville she was married to Paul Otto Repper and he preceded her in death on March 19, 1986.

Merle graduated from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg. She taught for 43 years in Sedalia and the surrounding area. She was a member of the Our Savior Lutheran Church in Sedalia. Merle enjoyed gardening and playing cards. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by one daughter; Janie Harkins of Tipton, three grandchildren; Cody Smith (Mary-Nancy) of Smithton, Sarah Donohue (Chris) of Ft. Hood. Tx, Hollis Smith (Amanda) of Smithton, five great grandchildren; Samantha Smith, Ashley Donohue, Ryan Donohue, Hannah Donohue, Emma Donohue, three step great grandchildren; Jeremiah Jones, Tamberlyn Dickson, Zander Haight. She was preceded by one grandson; Charles Roy Smith, one sister; Lanita Heyer, one brother; Estil Eichelberger.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 30, 2014 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Sedalia with Rev. Chris Kellogg officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Billy May, Curtis May, Clint May, Cody Smith, Chris Donohue, Ryan Donohue. Burial will be in Pilot Grove Cemetery. You may leave condolences online at ewingschuttesemlerfh.com
