Milo Lee Butts, 66, of Sedalia passed away December 15, 2014 at VA Medical Center, Kansas City, MO.  He was born on September 08, 1948 in Galesburg, IL a son of Charles and Elizabeth (Brown) Butts.

On July 11, 1981 in Sedalia, he was united in marriage to Susan Zeisset, who survives of the home.

Milo enjoyed farming and his cattle.  He loved trucking and enjoyed traveling and site seeing. He was a member of the American Legion Post 642 and the VFW Post 2591 of Sedalia.  Milo served his country honorably in the US Navy during the Korean and Vietnam Wars.

he is survived by four children, Tina Butts of La Monte, Quentin Butts, Christina Butts and Catherine Butts all of Sedalia; one sister, Althia (Thomas) Stephens of Desert Hot Springs, CA; two brothers, Wesley (Gloria) Butts of Montrose, MO and Larry (Lynn) Butts of Mattoon, IL; seven grandchildren, and one great grandson.

A Celebration of Life, funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, December 22, 2014 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia with Rev. Gary Richardson officiating.

Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Burial will be at Highland Sacred Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Larry Butts, Randy Haven, Chris Treece, Mike Zeisset and Alvin Zeisset.

Honorary bearer will be Dalton Butts.

Memorial are suggested to the family in care of the funeral chapel.
