Missouri Lawmakers Consider Virtual School Options

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — Missouri lawmakers this week are expected to consider a measure to give students more options to attend virtual schools for free. A Senate panel last week approved a bill that would allow students in failing districts and surrounding schools to attend online schools. Missouri School Boards' Association spokesman Brent Ghan also says paying tuition for virtual schools could strain public schools' finances.
