Around 6:20 in the evening on March 6, there was a two vehicle accident that injured five people.

The accident occurred at Route B, just East of Ragar Road in Pettis County. The accident occurred as a 1997 Ford Expedition was travelling eastbound and crossed the center line and struck a 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser. The Ford then travelled off the left side of the road, where it struck a ditch and overturned, before striking a tree and a fence, coming to rest on the passenger side. The Chrysler travelled off the left side of the roadway and struck a fence.

Five people were injured in the accident, including a 14-year-old girl, who sustained serious injuries. 14-year-old Claudia Apoliner, of Sedalia, was transported to University Hospital by Staff for Life.
