Motorcyclist Suffers Serious Injuries After Striking A Deer

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — A hospital spokesman says a 44-year-old woman is recovering after suffering serious injuries when her motorcycle hit a deer over the weekend. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Laura Bradshaw-Straub was riding on Route B when she hit a deer on Sunday near Columbia. University Hospital officials say her condition has been upgraded to good.
