Norma Lee McCurdy, 91

Norma Lee McCurdy, 91, of Hughesville, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

She was born September 25, 1923, a daughter of Herbert and Cleo Raw. In 1942, at First Christian Church in Macon, MO, she was united in marriage to James McCurdy, who survives.

She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Toni, of Corpus Christi, TX; and her granddaughter, Paige, and her husband, James Flynn, of Brooklyn, NY.

She was a member of First Christian Church in Sedalia.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Daniel.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 10, at Heckart Funeral Home, with the Rev. Chad McMullin officiating.

Casket bearers will be Jim Cooney, Earl Finley, James Flynn, Jim Mathewson and Virgil Tagtmeyer.
Honorary bearers will be Jack Hawkins, Bud Thomas and Ralph Viebrock.
Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to First Christian Church.
